On Galactic Travels, the Special Focus for August is ['ramp]. Originally a duo, ['ramp] is now a solo project of Stephen Parsick. When the band developed, Parsick and Frank Makowski delved into experimental ambient and electronic realms, creating what they playfully referred to as doombient. Parsick, who named his record label after this style of electronic music, continues the experiment.
