"American Wildlife Art" at Allentown Art Museum on Arts Salon

This week's host Bill Dautremont-Smith discusses the new "American Wildlife Art" exhibition that has just opened at the Allentown Art Museum of the Lehigh Valley with John Pepper, Adult Programs Coordinator at the Museum.  Also contributing to the discussion are Dr. Diane Husic, of the Nurture Nature Centre and also Professor of Biological Sciences at Moravian College, and Dr. Barbara Malt, of the Lehigh Valley Audubon Society and also Professor of Psychology at Lehigh University; Drs. Malt and Husic will each be presenting talks at the Museum in conjunction with American Wildlife Art that they will tell us about.  In addition there's brief discussion of "Hidden Treasures: American Photography from the Museum's Collection" that is also currently on show, that includes rare photographs by a number of celebrated photographers that are part of the Museum's collection but are not able to be on permanent display, some being shown for the first time.  This week, the program also includes Tasty Seasonal Recipe from Maria Filosa, this month featuring ways to preserve your harvest. (Original air date October 7, 2013.)
