Community Relations Coordinator

Alison has been a fan of WDIY since the station went on the air in 1995 and  joined the staff in 1998. She loves many things about her job, including its wide-range of duties. She coordinates volunteer activities, manages events and partnerships, assist with development, arranges ticket give-aways and "other duties as needed." 

In her free time, Alison enjoys gardening, music festivals and spending time with her family.

Basic Cookie Dough Recipe

There is something magical about seeing a plate of holiday cookies sitting on the kitchen table. I love all the shapes and sizes, the colorful sprinkles or chunks of fruit and chocolate chips. As I move closer, I can smell the wonderful scent of cinnamon or anise and my taste buds start joining in the fun. Depending on the type of cookies I am about to eat, a cup of tea or a glass of milk, is the perfect complement to my joyful journey into decedent bliss. Cookies are a perfect snack. You can limit yourself to just a few or indulge in cookie mania but don't do it too often.

The Lehigh Valley Outreach Depot

Produced and presented by Annie Prince and Bruce Wilson, this week's program features guest Patti Tironi, a member of Wesley United Methodist Church in Bethlehem and volunteer at the Lehigh Valley Outreach Depot, a ministry of Wesley, to talk about the "The Depot", a disaster relief warehouse that opened in April 2010 and is run entirely by volunteers. Living Green airs at the beginning of On the Media at 6pm on Tuesdays, and also at 5:45pm on Wednesdays, as part of All Things Considered.
