Host Sally Handlon focuses her program on three Lehigh Valley leaders. Sally welcomes guests Pamela Varkony, recent recipient of the Pearl S. Buck Foundation's 2017 Woman of Influence, Dr. Mark Erikson, president of Northampton Community College, and Dr. Bryon Grigsby, president of Moravian College.

Dr. Erikson and Dr. Grisby recently shed their roles and challenged themselves beyond their comfort levels to participate in the Lehigh Valley's Dancing with the Stars.

Host Dave Fry discusses legendary Martin Guitar employee Dick Boak's appearance at Northampton Community College's Fab Lab on May 18, 2017. Boak is a musician, woodworker, and a long-time Martin Guitar employee who currently serves as Martin's director of museum, archives, and special projects.

Dave Fry speaks with Boak as well as Jeff Boerner, Director of the Fab Lab at Northampton Community College.

Northampton Community College expanded its Bethlehem presence in 2005 by creating an urban campus in a former Bethlehem Steel office complex in south Bethlehem.  On this edition of Lehigh Valley Discourse, host Sally Handlon revisits that early decision and subsequent growth of this campus.

WDIY jazz host Rob Reagan welcomes renowned jazz guitarist Frank DiBussolo and Program Manager for Northampton Community College's Fab Lab Jeffrey Boerner to preview the Fab Lab's "Evening with the Masters" series event on November 30, 2016.  

The annual "Celebration of Reading" event is held by Cops 'n' Kids Lehigh Valley every spring at Northampton Community College's Fowler Family Southside Center in South Bethlehem. 2016's event was bigger than ever featuring music, food, children's activities, and the distribution of free books to kids.

WDIY spoke with Cops 'n' Kids Lehigh Valley President, Beverly Bradley; Bethlehem Mayor, Bob Donchez; and some of the many volunteers that make the event possible every year.
