National Poetry Month

Host Paul Willistein welcomes the three first-place writers of the 12th Annual Student Poetry Project to read their poems live on the air and discuss their writing. This year's top writers are Kara Gardner, Lincoln Elementary School, East Penn School District; Victoria Farrell, Trexler Middle School, Allentown School District; and Olivia Sica, Kutztown Area High School, Kutztown Area School District.

George VanDoren from The Press Papers and poet Marilyn Hazleton join hosts George Miller and Kate Scuffle on Lehigh Valley Arts Salon to talk about the 10th Annual Student Poetry Project. Find out how Lehigh Valley students can get involved.

Hosts Paul Willistein and George Van Doren welcome the three first-place winners in the Lehigh Valley Press Ninth Annual Student Poetry Project, a yearly collaboration held each April in honor of National Poetry Month.  The respective winners from each age category Hannah Kurczeski (elementary school), Olivia Sica (middle school), and Lucas Crampton (high school) read their winning poems and discuss their inspiration.
