The Accidentals Live on The Blend

Michigan indie alt-Americana band The Accidentals joined host Bill Dautremont-Smith in the studio for a live performance and interview about their meteoric career.

This young multi-instrumentalist trio are on a national tour promoting their third album, Odyssey, that has garnered critical acclaim and a lot of airplay on WDIY. The band was in town to play a show later that night at SteelStacks in Bethlehem.

The current exhibition at the the ArtsQuest Center at SteelStacks in Bethlehem is "The New Black - Volunteerism," a show about people, community and the giving capacity of the human spirit, featuring unique portraits created with wood stain on maple panels. 

Artist D Nina Cruz joined hosts George Miller and Kate Scuffle to discuss this celebration of giving back as a work of art.

Musikfest returns in its 34th year with its opening day on Friday, August 4th. On this edition of Lehigh Valley Arts Salon, host Charles James has ArtsQuest Chief Programming Officer Patrick Brogan in the studio for a preview of what's in store this year.

Charles and Patrick take a 10-day trip through the festival and listen to music from a wide range of artists who are performing this year.

Mary Wright & Liz Russo on Take Charge of Your Life

Host Eleanor Bobrow is joined by Mary Wright, a Bethlehem storyteller who was preparing to present her one-woman show, Nae Swe, exploring her Burmese roots, at Touchstone Theatre.

Also on the program is guest Liz Russo, a stand-up comedian and Easton native, who uses comedy and laughter to demonstrate her struggle with addiction and recovery. Russo was preparing to perform Dry Humor--Stand-Up for Recovery  at the ArtsQuest Center in Bethlehem.
