In this Lehigh Valley Arts Salon, the topic is the art of brewing, as will be on display in its many facets in the inaugural Lehigh Valley Beer Week, starting Feb 11.  Host Bill Dautremont-Smith will talk with LVBW organizer Jesse Albertson about its origination, and in particular will review and highlight some of the numerous events, such as special cask-conditioned beer tastings, meet the brewer evenings, and beer pairing dinners.

Two renowned local photographers take to the airwaves in this week's show. Host Lydia Panas speaks with Theo Anderson about his two current exhibits, at the Williams Center for the Arts and the State Theater in Easton.

Host Bob Cohen will interviews novelist and short-story author Alix Ohlin, whose two publications from Knopf earlier this year have been getting rave reviews:  "Inside," the novel, and "Signs and Wonders," a collection of Ohlin's short stories.  Alix Ohlin is on the faculty of Lafayette College.

Host Bathsheba Monk talks to photographer and videographer Lydia Panas about her video "Immanent Fear" currently displayed at the Soft Machine Gallery in Allentown.

"A Christmas Story" takes to the Act One main stage at De Sales University on November 28.  Director Steven Dennis and Producer John Bell join hosts Steve Aaronson and Rosalie Viscomi to discuss how the iconic Christmas movie has been taken to the stage, and what long-time fans can expect in terms of their favorite scenes -- like the frozen flag pole in the school yard.
