Galactic Travels

On the next Galactic Travels, the month-long focus on Mystified begins.  The Featured CD at Midnight will be Tribute To Forbidden Planet on Roil Noise Records.

The Special Focus for January is Mystified, a.k.a. Thomas Park.  The music of Mystified is of an atmospheric nature that is ideal for listening while working, sleeping, or doing other things.  The music is an exploration of texture and is serious music for serious people.

It is Analog Overdose month!  On the next Galactic Travels, the month-long focus on Fanger & Schonwalder concludes.  The Featured CD at Midnight will be Analog Overdose (the first one!) on Manikin Records.

The Special Focus for December is Fanger and Schonwalder.  Mario Schonwalder runs Manikin Records and is a member of BK&S (Broekhuis, Keller, and Schonwalder).  Thomas Fanger runs Starflux Records and is a member of Mind-Flux and Fanger & Kersten.  Together, Thomas and Mario combine their passion for Berlin School music and the classic sound of analog synthesizers and step sequencers to create the Analog Overdose

On the next Galactic Travels, the month-long focus on Palancar continues.  The Featured CD at Midnight will be Ambient Train Wreck Series Volume Three on Blue Water Records.  You'll also hear music by artists appearing at the Soundscapes Concert Series on Sunday, December 2, 8:00 pm at the Nazareth Center for the Arts

Pete Namlook passed away on November 8th.  His daughter Fabia released this statement:
"It is with much grief that we announce the passing of Peter Kuhlmann, AKA Pete Namlook. We are still shocked and are working on an official announcement that will follow soon to bring clarity to our minds. As word spreads on the internet more and more, we just want to make clear that he died peacefully from as yet unspecified causes on 8th November 2012. We will announce more details as and when they surface."
