Historic downtown Bethlehem was host to a number of artists on Saturday. artINplace aimed to give people a chance to view the creation of paintings and sketches in a setting they may not be used to--inside local businesses. In all, 17 artists participated, most using models for their pieces.

Former Lehigh Valley Arts Salon guest Michael Brolly was in the Sunn Inn Courtyard with his Musical Ark, a seaworthy vessel equipped with strings that can be played. There were also activities for children with Crayola donating materials for the Kid's Art Corner and Mermaid Avalon posing for photos. The event wrapped up with a wine and cheese reception at the Mill Reception Building where the day's artwork was displayed.
