The Community Gallery at Penn State Lehigh Valley presents “The War is Still With Us,” a PBS39 community engagement project. The exhibit runs October 2 to October 28, 2017. The artist reception will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on October 12 at Penn State Lehigh Valley. Both the reception and the exhibit are free and open to the public. For those who plan to attend, RSVP for the reception by contacting Kimberly Hessler at email@example.com. "The War is Still With Us" will feature approximately 30 images of the Vietnam War that were submitted from the community. Selected photos will be displayed on PBS39's website and through a physical photo gallery that will travel to various locations throughout the region, starting at Penn State Lehigh Valley’s Community Gallery. The traveling photo gallery will show the local impact of the war in the Lehigh Valley. The project will also include podcast interviews from selected experts in the field with the help of Vietnam Veterans of America LHV Chapter 415. For more information, contact Ann Lalik, gallery director at firstname.lastname@example.org or 610-285-5261 or visit the Art Exhibition website.
