Under the direction of Mr. Keith Wagner and assistant director Mr. Don Kemmer, the Easton Municpal Band will perform a free public concert on May 12 at Easton Center Square in Easton PA. Titles to be performed will include; “Armed Forces Salute”, “Star Spangled Banner” and arrangement from the musical “Brigadoon” among others. The theme for the PA Playhouse Summer 2012 Young Actors Studio will be Comedy Tonight. Kids will enjoy learning all kinds of comedic skits and songs such as I Can't Say No and Adelaide's Lament. The summer sessions are Monday to Friday 9-3 from June 18th to June 30 for the first session and from July 30th to August 11th for the second session. The 24th Annual Farm Animal Frolic in Quiet Valley will be hosted on May 19th, 20th, 26th, and 27th. Quiet Valley will come alive with new baby farm animals.   The Community Bulletin Board    

The Downtown Bethlehem Association is looking for artists and musicians to participate in the 2012 Season of Art Walks which will take place on the last Saturday of May, June, July, and August. Participants are asked to practice or perform their art as well as showcase completed pieces or works in progress. Participants may only showcase their own ORGINAL art work. Nor vendor fee will be charge for participation in Art Walk. However, artists and musicians MUST register with the DBA. The registration deadline is May 6th. On Saturday, May 12th, the 36th annual Troxell St. Sale also called "A Garage Sale on Steroids" will take place in the Pennsylvania Ave. neighborhood surrounding St. Andrew's Episcopal Church (at 1900 E. St. Andrew's will be featuring fun, food, baked goods, rides for the kids, a basket raffle, used books, attic treasures, parking, etc.

The Museum of Indian Culture located at 2825 Fish Hatchery Road in Allentown proudly introduces Native American Heritage Day a new event just for kids that celebrates Native American crafts and lifeways on Saturday May 19th. From 9AM-5 PM. Children will interact with Native American Culture in hands-on workshops that will teach primitive pottery making, quillwork, and medicine wheel wrapping, Iroquois-style cornhusk dolls, nature walks, and scavenger hunts.
