WDIY Fall Membership Drive 2008 Sweepstakes Rules

1. How to Enter the Contest:
Each valid entry will be eligible for a random drawing to win a Polk Audio I-Sonic Entertainment System.
a. Submit your entry between 6:15am Wednesday, October 15, 2008 and 4:45 pm on October 25, 2008. All entries must be received by WDIY no later than 4:45 pm on October 25, 2008. All times are Eastern Time.
b. To participate in the contest, use any one of the following methods, but all entries must include your first and last name, address and phone information.
· Become a Member of WDIY, or make a membership contribution to WDIY between 6:15am Wednesday, October 15th and 4:45 pm on October 25, 2008 by calling 610-758-8810 or online at www.wdiy.org/pledge/
· Call 610-758-8810 and give your name, address, phone number, or
· Provide all of the necessary information on a plain sheet of paper along with your daytime telephone number and fax your entry to WDIY, ATTN: Alison DelRe, Community Relations Coordinator - Sweepstakes Entry: to 610-954-9474.
c. WDIY is not responsible for a submission that is lost, undelivered or misdirected, or for entries not received due to difficulty accessing the Internet, service outages or delays, computer difficulties or other technological glitches.
d. From all entries, one entry and three alternates will be chosen at random and the first selected eligible contestant will be announced as the sweepstakes winner on the air on Saturday, October 25, 2008 at 5:00pm. The sweepstakes winner will also be notified by phone, mail or email.

2. Eligibility Restrictions
The contest is open to adults (18 years or older). Employees of WDIY, its contest sponsors, volunteer staff members managing the contest, and the members of their households are ineligible to participate in the contest or win. One entry per person.

3. The Prize:
a. Polk Audio I-Sonic Entertainment System. The prize has a total estimated retail value of $500.00.
b. No part of the prize is redeemable for cash.
c. The prize must be picked up at WDIY, 301 Broadway, Bethlehem during business hours.

4. Selection of Winner:
a. Decisions of station management with respect to the contest are final.
b. One single entry and three alternates will be selected at random on Saturday, October 25, 2008 from all entries received by the deadline, and the first selected eligible contestant will be announced as the sweepstakes winner on Saturday, October 25, 2008 at 5:00 pm.
c. Winner need not listen or be present to win. WDIY will contact the winner. If the sweepstakes winner does not claim the prize within seven days after the winner is announced, that contestant will forfeit the prize and alternate winner will be selected from the alternates drawn on Saturday, October 25th 2008.

5. Conditions:
a. Payment of all federal, state and local taxes is the sole responsibility of the winner.
b. By participating in the contest, the winner agrees to have his or her name, voice, or likeness used in any advertising or broadcasting material relating to this contest without additional financial or other compensation, and to sign a publicity release prior to acceptance of the prize. The winner must also sign a prize receipt and certify compliance with all eligibility requirements prior to release of the prize.
c. WDIY, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to disqualify any person for tampering with the entry process or with the operation of the WDIY Web Site or who is otherwise in violation of the rules.

6. Right to Make Changes
WDIY reserves the right to make changes in the rules of the contest, including the substitution of a prize or prizes of equivalent or greater value, which will become effective upon announcement.

7. No Purchase Required
No purchase or donation is necessary.

8. Responsibilities
WDIY is not responsible for typographical or other errors in the printing, the offering or the administration of the contest or in the announcement of a prize.

9. Copies of the Contest Rules
Copies of the written contest rules will be available up to 30 days after the end of the contest at www.wdiy.org. You may also receive the rules by mail by sending a self-addressed, stamped envelope to WDIY, Attn: Alison DelRe, Community Relations Coordinator- Sweepstakes Entry, 301 Broadway, Bethlehem, PA 18015.
